"Each stone, especially labradorite, is unique because its internal patterns remain unpredictable until the final polish. This inherent uncertainty means that no two stones are ever the same.
With this minimalist presentation, I want to direct the viewer’s attention entirely to the natural beauty of the gemstone—its textures, inclusions, and the way it interacts with light."
Shimmer is a collection that invites viewers to explore the subtle changes within gemstones and the dynamic interplay between metal and light.
The settings have been restructured beyond the traditional approach by integrating architectural structures that reflect the unique characteristics of each gemstone. The minimalist mortise-andtenon structure uses tension to maximize the display of the stones’ internal features and aesthetic beauty. This setting method allows the gemstones to float delicately between the fingers, enhancing the wearer’s experience of the interaction between the stones and light.
